Bob-

Not sure how to interpret beserk. We have a few belkin KVMs of the 16 port and 4
port variety. Occasionally, the mouse seems to get "lost" when switching from
W2k -> RH7.x. This is solved (as recommended in the Belkin docs) by plugging
and unplugging the mouse- kind of a microsoft-style solution. No- I guess the
microsoft solution would be to reboot... :^)

Also we have had the problem in W2k of the mouse seeming to randomly and
rapidly switch focus for one window to the next even when the mouse is not being
touched. We have always assumed that this was a "feature" of Dell's version of
W2k we run on a NAS device.

Not sure if this at all resembles you problem...

very helpful. Mike's presentation on Webmin was well done and informative.
Unfortunately I had to return to work and was unable to take part in the Samba
presentation...... Here's my question...... I run several boxes and share my
monitor/keyboard(P/S2)/mouse(P/S2) with a Belkin 4 port E series KVM. Whenever I
switch from the linux box to a windows box the mouse goes berserk. I have tried
different rodents and all have the same prob. I have a removable drive rack in
the linux box and when I switch to windows the mouse is normal...... has anyone
else encountered this...... is there anything I might try as far as X or mouse
parameters.......TIA
