Hmm.. maybe I wasn't clear about how I went about setting everything up.
 I registered the domain through Network Solutions (aka Verisign). Then
I got a static ip all set up with GCI, and then put GCI's dns server
info into Network Solution's database - and after a day or so, poof - it
worked. Sounds just like what Tom did, only with a different registrar.

Thank again everyone, and I'll let you know how it all goes! Probably
get around to it tomorrow since I'm heading out to my parent's for
christmas in a few.
