i do not need to edit pdf files sent to me, I still operate under the old, old,
school ..pdf are not editable. I do need to fill in forms , shuffle, delete
extraneous pages and to annotate pdf files.

I have used pdftk that Royce mentions, works great if you use it enough to
remember the commands, I do not eseem to be able to do it,same with
ghostscript.

a couple of simple tools, pdfshuffler allows me to add, delete, re-order pages
in a multi page pdf.

xournal is called a note taking app, but I use it to annotate pdf's, it can
insert a graphic.

The linked app at http://code-industry.net/get.pdfeditor.php does it all, not
sure if it is too much in one package for me..trying it out,,not a fan of
free beer or pay for a license, stuff.
