[aklug] Adobe, PDF and "open source"

ISO 32000-1:2008

Adobe claims to offer an open source format. Don't get me started.
What Adobe is/was trying to do is circumvent other truly open source
formats from dominating in the "market place." This is an ongoing
behavior pattern for Adobe (digital negs - DNG, for example).

lots of tools available - but one has to determine where the line gets
drawn for what is a "PDF."
