Let's cut the bull, Gregg. *You* guys turned this into what it is by simply
refusing to answer the original question. And to date, you guys are all
still dancing around the question.

I wasn't heavy handed to begin with, I asked a simple question as to what
the benefits of the entity were, and what practical effect it would have on
us if we chose to not continue this. Not one of you chose to answer that
question, even now. Instead, you made me become much more insistent since
some perhaps don't think they should have to answer questions from the
unwashed masses.

You may not like my presentation, Gregg, but that's not really relevant to
the discussion, is it? The fact remains that if you guys really wanted to
have a democratic process you would answer the damned question once and for
all and let the voting membership decide if this is a logical course to
maintain.

So, for the billionth time: how have we ever leveraged our legal status
that makes the ongoing expense worthwhile? What impact would there be to
FNL, the IT Expo, or any other routine AKLUG activity if we chose to
terminate the legal entity?

Several members here have acknowledged that those are all very pertinent,
and valid questions that deserve answering. Now we'll see if you guys
actually believe that this is a democratic process. Give us the information
and let's put this to a vote.

I will also reiterate for the umpteenth time: I'm not knocking anyone for a
past decision, in fact, I'll help defray the cost of that past decision. I
am saying that we need to make a logical decision for the future, though.
If you have any evidence that there is real value, and that convinces the
majority here, I'll go with it. Until that happens, though, I am not going
to sit idly by and not question the decisions of a few who want to make the
decision themselves, in a vaccuum.
