RE: Rdhat 8.0 Server Not Allowing Login

Quick and easy method follows.

Boot up a 'linux on cd', mount the drive and swap out the /etc/shadow hash
for the root account with one from another linux box where you know the
password. Be sure to copy the shadow file before editing it. I also strongly
suggest looking for signs of intrusions too.
