Well!
Why didn't you just say you wanted to be a hardware
mortician?

Greetings all;

Here follows a brief explanation of the term, "Junque",
as well as
my intention in its use in suggesting a position of
responsibility
in the proposed corporate structure of the "Alaska
Linux Users
Group", whick is commonly refered to as "aklug".

1. I have long been interested in Amateur Radio. I
dimly remember
failes attempts as a Cub Scout in the 1940's, then as a
Boy Scout in
the early 1950's, to learn the International Morse
Code. In high
school, one of my class mates got his Novice license.
One of the
adult hams in the community helped him build a one tube
transmitter
obtaining most of the parts from his "junk" box.

2. In 1964 I got my Novice license, WL7ALV. I joined
the "American
Radio Relay League" and began receiving its monthly
publication,
"QST". It was from reading home-brew construction
articles that I
saw that references to one's "junk" box were often
spelled "Junque".
