I'm all for the thirty day period also I would be happy to do project
management type stuff and education My Company runs a Linux+ class every
two months and it wouldn't be to hard to run a night class for whatever
anybody could afford (Our trade or just show up) we move into our own
building on the first of the month and I have no issues giving up some
space and bandwidth (Cable Modem Type) to the LUG. Also maybe we could
start a running membership list of those that are interested in being
active members, not just those that subscribe to the mailing
list????????????

Maybe this illustrates some issues with the way AKLUG operates. These
various groups are unknown to each other. AKLUG needs to be open in its
operations, have elections etc. We should hash over all these ideas for
a while before scheduling a meeting, I think at least 30 days would give
everyone an opportunity for participation.

While I agree with Arthur about having more people doing more
responsibilities I don't think lack of participation should preclude
AKLUG from going forward with those who do want to serve AKLUG & the
Linux community.
