You mean people actually don't filter, or only use one level of
filtering?
<grin>

Ok, so I'm a freak, and I use a couple of methods.

At work, the corp has us all using MailGuard. So that's my first level.
Second level, because I use outlook, is Cloudmark Spamnet. Third level
is Outlooks filtering.
 Even at three levels of filtering, I still get one or two that leak
through.
Out of 300+ a day, that's nearly acceptable. Occasionally I lose a real
email,
but since I have the option, I scan whats been held every day or two..

At home, i have a private email address. even then, spam bots have
managed
to figure out some acceptable usernames. I use SquirrelMail, and there
is
a Bayesian filter that I use. There's also an RBL plugin, but i've
disabled
that temporarily...perhaps permanently.
