BTW, what does DPMS stand for?

In /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 there is an option listed called DPMS... Turn this
to OFF and the prob will be fixed.

X uses the Monitor and the graphic card, Bios wont affect it Nothing will
except the DPMS option in the config File.
