Hi all,
I do medical for a living. The product described, well designed, well written,
and well documented will run $300,000 to $600,000 depending on the total
feature load. It will need to integrate tightly with a very capable back end
database (or the price goes up).
Before you start, read the HIPAA regs closely. The electronic billing requirements
alone will cost 20-30,000, written from the ground up. For HIPAA this is just
a start since no one really knows where that is going to lead.
