Most every Friday has seen another SmoothWall box being customized :-)

SmoothWall folks named the internet connection "red", the server
connection "orange", and the protected side "green". Each gets its own
NIC card.

My firewall is just a '486-66 with 16meg (72 pin simms).
It handles four boxes nicely through a dialup connection.

Greg Madden and Jim Gribbin seem to keep us in fresh CDs.
Fastest setup is a temporary CD-rom connect.
Best machines are the ones that can boot w/o keyboards.
Adjustments after install are done with a web browser on a machine
connected to the "green" NIC.
