Why not just do it via a recursive function call? Thats the bad CS
Programmer in my talking, but for easibility it will work awsome.

Subject: directory recursion

I am looking for a directory recursion routine for perl. I found the
File::find module, but not sure how to use it.

I am trying to do a specific operation on every file in a directory and its
subdirectories.

I would think that a thousand people would have recursed directories in
perl, but I am having a hard time finding an example.

Must not be looking in the right place.

Mike

In the beginning there was data. The data was without form and
null, and darkness was upon the face of the console; and the Spirit of
IBM was moving over the face of the market. And DEC said, "Let there
be registers"; and there were registers. And DEC saw that they
carried; and DEC separated the data from the instructions. DEC called
the data Stack, and the instructions they called Code. And there was
evening and there was morning, one interrupt.
