Sure have Mike.... I haven't had just huge successes with
it, but it does noticably better that straight-up Wine in
most stuff.. If you're going to go to the trouble of
compiling Wine anyway, you should go with WineX...
Transgaming doesn't offer freely available binaries-- they
want you to pay them for that, but they have an open CVS
tree and it's a straight autoconf setup (i.e. ./configure;
make; make install) so it's easy to compile if you have any
experience with source code... there may be binaries that
someone else has out there... WineX is liscensed under the
Aladdin liscense which allows free distribution of the
program for non-comercial reasons: if you want to make a
buck, they want their cut.

Their charge for the binaries includes tech-support on their
customers-only web-board..
