You were one of several.

Of course--I understand completely. In my case, my fiance is convinced
that something in my computer room caused Tourette Syndrome in me,
although it was most likely acquired during my years in commercial
fishing, construction, and system administration the same as yourself.
However, what comes out of my mouth in my computer room is different from
what comes out of my mouth when speaking in mixed company. Especially
among people I've never met before who may be offended by some of the
things I may yell at my server in my computer room.

I'm currently working on something that will be tacked on to the welcome
message new subscribers receive, but it's not ready yet.

Dave, my point is that we're all mature enough here to know what's okay to
speak in polite company, and what isn't. What I'm asking is for everyone
to apply that same common-sense approach to the messages that are posted
here. Remember also that the messages you post to the list will be around
in the archive for a very, very long time, while words spoken in polite
company will most likely be forgotten by the time everyone leaves the
room.

If anyone would like to discuss this further with me, please do so off
the list.

Mike
