I have installed Mandrake and SuSE on my xh485, which has the same
graphics chipset and screen as what you have. Believe me, I know ALL
about X problems with this video card :)
I have a page up at www.enderakonline.com/linux/xh485.html, but it may
very well be that is what you looked at on linux-laptop.net. If you
want to e-mail me your XF86Config file, I can take a look at it and see
if I can find anything wrong with it.
