I like the idea of a fstab entry, what about the network connectivity
sequence for the mount to work ?

I use the following line in a xterm, it prompts for a password, only
slightly faster than linneighgorhood?
/usr/bin/smbmount //Pabi/h /home/greg/h -o workgroup WORKGROUP
