  I can't speak to anything current when it comes to netbooks. I've
  got two asus eee900's, an hpmini and an aspire. They all
  originally came with .5 Gig of RAM. I upgraded every one to 2 G
  RAM and after several different installs, I settled on lubuntu for
  an OS.
