At this time - 1:00 P.M. Monday April 6 - all seems to be
resolved. Adam has not only fixed the RDNS issue, but he has
lobbied spamrats successfully for my removal from their blacklist.
(The only one I was one).
I should note that Adam's response was different from the original
response that I got (on Friday) from MTASolutions. Which was as
follows :
"""
Unfortunately our sysadmin will not change our naming conventions
for DNS forward and reverse lookups.
"""
:) I guess Adam was off on Friday. He has my kudos and enduring
thanks. If he gives me permission, I will be happy to put in a
call to Les Helfrich or Greg Berberich, both of whom I know, for a
personal commendation.
So a little history might be fun to share, and I know that there
are other on this list that could add their own bit. I'll put that
on a different thread.
