I might as well jump on the bandwagon. I've been on the mailing list since
shortly after it started (when it was hosted on tara-lu.com), although I
only pipe up from time to time, and most people here wouldn't recognize my
face.

I started with Slackware 3.1 in 1996, and I've been running Linux at home
ever since. I've dabbled a bit with different distros, but Slackware has
been constant; I like its DIY focus, which is good for both learning and
power.
