  When with the Park Service, I was a first responder at a fatality
  accident about 35-40 miles from a trooper station. The victim was
  a the member of a motorcycle group (local branch of the Hell's
  Angels). In that earlier life, I had lots of dealings with biker
  gangs and I knew how to deal with them. When the one state Trooper
  arrived, he acted like a complete asshole, really out of control.
  He so angered the bikers that I had a brief discussion with their
  leader to the effect that if he let his men do what I knew they
  wanted to do it was "not f'ing worth it." I don't think the
  trooper knew how close he came to getting his butt kicked.

  I found out later that it was that trooper's third fatality
  accident call of the day.
