Here's the keep it simple skinny. For 20mhz channels, in 2.4ghz (normal
'wifi'), only channels 1, 6, and 11 are non-overlapping. Use manual channels
and stagger them. Identify external sources of interference and negotiate if
necessary. (Be a good neighbor: the cardinal rule of unlicensed wifi.)
While you're at it, any ubiquiti device has a java-based full res spectrum
analyzer, something that cost $1200 not too long ago.
