My 2=C2=A2,=20

Dual boot is moot. VirtualBox allows so much flexibility it borders on insan=
e. I have a 2008 MacBook Pro 2.4ghz core2duo with 4g ram and a 500g HDD. I c=
urrently have 14 virtual machines built (VB calls them guests). Everything f=
rom Oracle Solaris 11 and Win2k8server to Smoothwall, Windows8 and about 6 v=
ariations of Ubuntu.

Not only can you boot from a partition, you can run live CD distros straigh=
t from the .iso file. No virtual HDD necessary.=20

On 4g of ram I can run 3 or 4 of the lighter weight distros concurrently and=
network them together on a virtual network. I.E. Run smoothwall, open three=
other vm's networked to smoothwall to use it as a firewall boundary.

I have done still surfing the web with chrome and 6 tabs open, mail.app runn=
ing and ITunes streaming music to my stereo.=20

So why dual boot?
