Not me, but this is a thread of interest to me for two reasons:
1)We have an elderly neighbor who is a ham radio operator and it
is a major source of comfort for him. Because of his health, he is
trying to get into a facility where he can get some care, but I
doubt that he can take his gear with him.
. Is there any sort of computer interface into the ham radio
community(communities)?
2)What may be of interest to you is that I am currently reading a
book that is recently published by a fellow who lives in Palmer
part of the time:
http://www.amazon.com/Wi-Fi-Bad-Boys-Radio-Technology/dp/1457505606/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1317226646&sr=1-2
It is a good read. Starts with ham radio.
