Thanks, ndiswrapper might be in my future.

 i just upgraded my box, new mb/cpu/memory/video. I kept my hard drives etc. I
decided to stay with 32 bit Debian, and am using the bigmem kernel instead of
going 64 bit.. I would say flash is one of the bigger reasons for me to do 32
bit.

In the past I have avoided ndiswrapper for hardware drivers, maybe time to
revisit the issue for flash support.

Its a work in progress.
