I don't remember taking more than 18 credits at a time in undergrad, Marc.
It is typical in professional degree programs for students to be
loaded with 25-30+ credits at a time unless the student is on some
special reduced-load academic special needs program. I'm talking about
med, chiro, dental, vet, and probably also law schools. Its just the
way things are structured (ie, insane).
