Recently I've been experiencing an issue where the keyboard stops
responding to Meta keys on the keyboard. Shift, Control and other
keys stop having effect.
My current work around is to use this command on the terminal:
setxkbmap
As I find out more, I'll let folks know.
Also, this happens as I'm working with a Windows VM...the keys in the
VM continue to work as I would expect.
