I've seen some of what's come out of the Highland Tech team, etc., at the
IEEE luncheons. It's pretty impressive what some of them are doing at that
age. At that age I was just stringing together timer ICs (555s and 556s),
registers, and relay-switched DC motors. I hope they find a way to take
that to an even higher level. You could only get so fancy with $10 worth of
parts.

It's probably sad how much of my childhood was spent lusting after the
Heathkit Hero 1 kits...
