The problem with Certifications is that they are of value for a finite
period. Almost all of the wazoo cert-du-jours are valid for 18-36 months,
generally. So if it's on the companies nickel or it can be factored into a
lush contract then cool. But if I were paying and I wanted the most bang for
the buck then having those B.S. C.S. initials represent something that, like
even old unix commands, stays around forever :-)
