Which can be a deal breaker for those who just want it to work right out of
the box. Second the chat supports most popular protocols which are of little
use in an enterprise environment especially one behind a Websense protected
network. The best messenger utility I found for corporate or government
networks is Softros LAN Messenger-which is great for collaboration during
training season-saves running up and down stairs or building to building
just to share files or pass on messages.

Will continue to work with Spicebird though (after I figure out how to
render my messages in human readable form of course) and it is still in
beta. B
