Thanks for the warning -- a very appropriate one. Thankfully, I was able
to fix the situation with that system rescue CD you guys recommended. BTW,
the CD is a pretty handy tool, with the 32bit and 64bit images on it.
Though for some reason it doesn't come with Emacs. >:(
