[aklug] Clonezilla, a better chost than Ghost?

For those of us who have been stubbornly clinging to their old copies of the original
Norton Ghost before Symantec 'improved' it, and have been less than impressed with
Acronis, it looks like there's finally something in GPL-land that does the job even better.

http://clonezilla.org/

Just used it to clone an existing 80GB laptop drive to a 250GB laptop drive, with an XP
partition, grub boot loader, and ubuntu using ext3. Took less than an hour to make an
image of the old 80GB drive to a samba server, and then clone it from the samba to the
new 250GB drive. Grub booted, XP booted, and ubuntu booted. Was able to log into all
of them. Start to finish, sane defaults, no muss, no fuss, no bother.

Time will tell if any issues develop of course, but so far, I'm pleased. It looks like
this is a better ghost than Ghost.
