I figure if people are willing to pay over a hundred dollars for a
crippled and insecure OS, they might use a free OS and shell out 35
bucks for the plugin. I have used it in the past and it was very good
at that time and that was probably 3-4 years ago.

The Linux installs of yesterday were definitely a pita but it has
become drop dead simple for the major distros. I agree with Mike
though, having the new user being able to go back to their original OS
with a reboot or just trying Linux on their desktop with one of the
virtual solutions is a great idea. It would be nice to show people
these in action.
