Everyone is correct with the repsponse of 'support' for xorg, xfree86, the
caveat is: do you want to edit the xorg.conf file or do you want the
disto to provide a 'tool' for configuring multi-head"

Suse has been the leader in providing a tool to configure X, including
dual head, the Sax tool. I use Debian with a Matrox card, and any Debian
based system comes with a program ( from Matrox, mgapdesk) to configure
Matrox cards. I don't use other distros enough to know if any provide a
tool, to configure X.
