Back in the good ole' days before they improved the highway, that water
pipe had a sign mounted nearby warning people not to drink the water. I
have no idea where the sign went but I can assure you, the water is still
coming from the same place. Use your best filter when drinking any water
in Alaska, especially if it's coming out of the faucet in your house.
