Just installed Sarge and am getting an error that I never got w/ Woody:

I can turn DMA on and get a little better speed and less of the dma_intr
error messages, but that doesn't fix it. From what I've read about this
error msg it has something to do with a kernel option. I went to
recompile last night and the DMA options were set to load as a module, so
I'm at a loss of where to get this fixed at. I initially had an older 40gb
Western Digital drive in there and thought that that was the problem. Went
and bought a new Seagate last night and it is still doing the same thing.

It's an older ABIT m/b KT7 w/ an 800mhz Duron. I'm using the 80 wire ATA
cable, /dev/hdb is another WD 40gb hdd. The 40gb worked under Woody just
fine for years, now with Sarge I'm getting the error messages.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
