Anthony,
I have been a Suse fan for a long time. With the arrival of Suse 9.3 I
have finally made the move to using it as much as possible. It is very
complete as to applications, has excellent documentation. As a boxed set
this would be an excellent way to go for anyone new to Linux. While the
$99 may seem spendy to those used to d/ling their favorite distro at no
cost IMHO the boxed set with over a thousand apps, docs, cd and dvd
media and support is an excellent value compared to what the equivalent
MS products would cost.
that's my .02
