GCI filtering port 139?

Does anyone know if GCI is blocking port 139 on either the DSL or cable
modem networks? I'm trying to figure out why within the past few weeks
every packet sent to 139 from a cable modem to a dsl modem or from the dsl
to the cable modem has not reached either destination. I can do a telnet
IP 139 and then a tcpdump tcp port 139 and nothing will ever be
received. Any ideas?

If not, what is the best way for a windows machine to mount a share from a
linux box? This is not what I thought Christmas eve would be like. ;)
