AMD64 laptop FC3 install

A friend of mine recently bought an AMD64 based HP pavilion laptop. He
posted the breakdown on his web site:

Looks like it works, but it was a bit of a pain.

I myself recently upgraded my Fedora Core 2 workstation to Fedora Core 3
- lot easier for older PII hardware.

I'd recommend you guys play with Fedora Core 3; too many of you guys are
going european with that SuSE stuff ;)

I'm thinking of going to AMD64 myself; but I still can't justify the
expense (Sorry Stan, it's going to have to wait for a while until the
prices come WAY down)
