I'm not sure how the emulation works with a Windows host and Linux guest. I
don't think 3D acceleration comes though, but sound should work fine. I've
never used VMWare on windows personally, but I use VMWare on Linux (with a
windows host) quite a bit.
BTW, but video and audio card?
