  This creates a successfull start to X. Things are a little strange,
  but I know have the righthand proview monitor working.

  I finally heard back again from the Matrox tech. He still can't
  spell worth a darn. Sent me more bad config code.
  He must be a programmer....

Anyway Adam, you put me on the right track. I'm recommending you
to Matrox.
