It has 16 megs and 32-pin simms. I hadn't considered debian, I'll give that a
shot. I'm not using it for anything in particular, though I had considered
using it as a firewall. As it happens, I did manage to install slack 4 to a
directory and I can boot it with lilo or chroot to it, though if I use chroot
to access it, I end up using Slack 4 utilities compiled for a 2.2.6 kernel
with a 2.6.7 kernel and this causes some problems. Just the same, I think
I'll use this method for testing new distros. Thanks for the information,
