Other than the m$ related shrink programs found at such sites as;

Has anyone successfully done this without having to split the dvd....
This is of course for "testing purposes" only for backup of
privately owned, created and/or purchased material....yada, yada...
i.e. I have not found a Linux product to do this yet, though will be
trying out some of the latest incantations at;
