First, I want to say thanks for all of the suggestions. They were very
helpful.
Second, I ended up with a MelodiStik from Costco for $80.00.
Says right on the package that it works with Linux 2.4.17 or better. I
was going to get the iRiver FP-180T at Freddy's for 119.00 but found the
one at Costco and went with that. iRiver does have Linux support but I
don't know how good.
The only problems I had were USB configuration related and I am sending
that in a separate e-mail.
