its a module parameter you need to look at the src for the module
parameters. I had to do this in the past when then 10/100 full duplex
nic would not detect the 10 mbts 1/2 duplex on a old piece of Early DSL
hardware that PTI used on my former employer. Modules and their
parameters are like the dettined in the windows drivers.
