I've had some pretty bad luck with Network Solutions. I started using
them before they had a web management interface, and domain management
was done via email (what a crappy system). All management was reliant on
maintaining a good/valid email address. The system failed me when
Internet Alaska (the original registerer of a domain) used the email
address pornstar@compuserv.com as the admin address. It took a very long
time to get that snafu straightened out. I never could find out why
Internet Alaska did that? Spite?

Network Solutions once killed a domain because they had made a billing
error. After two days of troubleshooting my network for the cause of my
woes I finally narrowed it down to them. I would not register with them
again simply because of that. Plus they are way overpriced. I haven't
seen that they provide any great value for their high price.

I use www.dotster.com. Secure web interface, easy to manage multiple
domains. Easy to update and manage contact info. Very good.
