Subject: Mandrake..urpmi.addmedia error

I'm trying to setup my urpmi repository. Here is my error:
[root@tim+deploy tim]# urpmi.addmedia -h Main

problem reading synthesis file of medium "Main"
unable to update medium "Main"
I did run urpmi.removemedia at one point hoping that would clean the
directory so I could rebuild it.....but no luck.
Any ideas?
