Subject: apt-get for RedHat 8.0

Trying to install apt-get for RedHat 8 and it says that librpm.so.0 is
not there...it isn't...I created a symbolic link to the so library that
is there but, that didn't work either.
How do I get the librpm.so.0 file from the older rpm package and install
just that file?
