of 'make install'=2E It will generate and install an RPM (or =2Edeb), thu=
s
making it easier to remove a package, and there is no need to rely on a
'make uninstall' being present=2E Kinda like having my cake and eating it=
too=2E Can still do the tar/make compile and install sequence, and be abl=
e
to do the RPM and rpm -e thing=2E
