FYI - W98 had old bios issues. Make sure you are using Version 2. If you are
trying to run on an old computer such as 300mhz or less you may need a bios
upgrade.

I have a problem that is going to keep me from my first Linux Friday
night gathering....:(

I have a W98 machine that is constantly hanging. I suspect a heat
issue. The PC stalls out after about 2 min. into the windows
installation. It also hangs when I'm in the BIOS. Only cutting the
power will get me a reboot.

I've checked the harddrive, memory, video card, sound card....the only
thing I have not done is reseat the CPU and heat sink.

What a bummer,
Tim
